In my social and political environment there are many rumors about the suburbs of Dresden. The first time I arrived in one, I found myself in front of a huge highrise, full of people, but still I felt a strange abandonedness. What causes this impression? For me, the only way of proving it, was getting to know what was behind each of the 207 doors of the building. I started with one object, rang a doorbell to exchange it for another object. In this way I continued until I changed the position of 73 objects within the building.
In the accompanying film I'm verbalizing fictive prejudices that people had when they saw me in front of their door.
